Nothing Announces 2026 A Short History of Decay Tour

Philadelphia’s shoegaze icons Nothing are back. The Nothing tour, officially titled the A Short History of Decay tour, begins February 8, 2026. This journey supports their latest album, A Short History of Decay, and honors the tenth anniversary of Tired of Tomorrow. The tour features Nothing, Full Body 2, Cryogeyser, Violent Magic Orchestra, and Whirr performing across the USA, Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Key stops include Baltimore, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Separately, the band will headline their own Slide Away Festival featuring Nothing, Hum, Chapterhouse, Swirlies, Cloakroom, Ovlov, Mint Field, and loveliescrushing. They will also appear at the 2000trees Festival.

About Nothing

Nothing is an American shoegaze/alternative rock band formed in 2010 in Philadelphia by frontman Domenic "Nicky" Palermo. Known for blending dazzling layers of distorted guitars, ethereal vocals, and confessional lyrics, they broke out with fan favorites like "Vertigo Flowers," "A.C.D. (Abcessive Compulsive Disorder)," "Zero Day," and “Say Less.” Their latest album, *A Short History of Decay*, is due February 27, 2026. They’ve also released the collaborative project *When No Birds Sang* (2023) with Full of Hell. Nothing is well-known for transforming trauma into emotionally raw, immersive shoegaze soundscapes.
